Jose Iñigo Homer “Joey” Lacambra Ayala was born on June 1, 1956, in Bukidnon, Philippines to artist-parents Jose Veloso Ayala, Jr. and Tita Agcaoili Lacambra.

A dynamic educator and workshop leader, he has worked with institutions like NCCA and UNDP. Joey continues to inspire through music, education, and cultural work that celebrates Filipino identity and environmental awareness.
